About this reference

Veroworks is a glossary-first reference to battle collection RPGs, written for readers in Australia and published by a company that earns a commission from one game in the category. Both halves of that sentence matter, and this page sets out what follows from each.

Who publishes it

Veroworks is published by MV Ouběnická stavební s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic.

MV Ouběnická stavební s.r.o. Lodžská 401/13, Bohnice, 181 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic Company number: 10701575 VAT: CZ10701575 Email: info@veroworks.online

Editorial responsibility for everything on this site sits with the company named above. Where authorship is attributed at all, it is attributed to the Veroworks editorial team, which is that company. There are no named writers here, no contributor profiles and no staff biographies, because inventing them would be the simplest way to make this site look like something it is not.

How this site decides what to cover, and in what order

The honest description of the scope is narrow, so it is worth stating precisely rather than dressing up.

The category is chosen by the commercial relationship. Veroworks covers battle collection RPGs because that is the category containing the one product it is paid to link to: Raid: Shadow Legends. If the affiliate arrangement did not exist, this site would not exist. That is the starting point, and no amount of general-interest content changes it.

Within the category, coverage follows the vocabulary. The site is organised as a glossary with longer entries behind it, and a topic earns a page when the terms in it cannot be explained adequately in a definition — summoning, energy economies, team roles, desktop clients. That is why there are six content pages rather than sixty: the site covers what it can explain properly rather than filling a map.

Only one product is described in detail, and it is the one that pays. Veroworks does not review, rank or compare games against each other, and it publishes no tier lists or scores. It has one product page, for the title behind the affiliate arrangement, and that page is explicit about being one. Presenting a single paid product inside a comparison of many would imply a survey that has not been conducted.

The commission does not decide what the general entries say. The pages on randomised rewards, energy economies and spending pressure describe those mechanisms in the same terms they would use without an affiliate arrangement — which is to say, plainly, including the parts that might lead a reader to decide the category is not for them. A reference that only worked when it produced a sale would be worth nothing to read.

What this site will not publish

These are decisions rather than omissions, and each has a reason:

  • No reviews, ratings or scores. A score implies a measurement, and this site conducts no testing.
  • No tier lists. The same objection, applied to individual characters.
  • No testimonials or user quotes. There is no way to verify who wrote them, and unverifiable praise is the oldest form of advertising there is.
  • No statistics of its own. Where a figure appears anywhere on this site it is linked to the body that published it. Where no such source exists, the point is made as general guidance or not at all.
  • No prices, discounts or availability claims. These change, and the publisher's own store is the only accurate source.
  • No probability figures for any game's draws. Rates are published in-game and change with updates.
  • No urgency. No deadlines, no counters, no reason given to act today rather than next month.

How the site is built

Veroworks is static HTML with one stylesheet and one short, readable script that does two things: it collapses the navigation on small screens and it opens and closes the questions on one page. There is no framework and no build step.

The site sets no cookies, uses no local storage, loads no third-party script, and makes no external request of any kind — the fonts are the ones already on your device. There is no analytics, no advertising tag and no conversion pixel, which is why there is no consent banner: a banner here would be describing tracking that does not happen. The cookie policy and privacy policy describe exactly this and nothing more.

There is also no form anywhere on the site. Nothing is collected, because nothing is asked for. Contact happens by email, to the address above.

Corrections

Definitions in this reference describe mechanisms common to a genre, and games change. If an entry is wrong, out of date, or wrong for the specific title you play, write to info@veroworks.online and say which page and which sentence. Corrections are made on the page itself rather than answered privately, and the review date in the footer is updated when they are.

Where to check things independently

Nothing on this site needs to stand in for an Australian authority. Classification decisions and consumer advice are published by the Australian Classification Board. Consumer rights, including the guarantees that apply to digital products, are administered by the ACCC. Scam patterns around games and accounts are collected by Scamwatch. Online safety guidance, including reporting routes for harassment in games, comes from the eSafety Commissioner. Account and device security advice comes from the Australian Cyber Security Centre. Privacy rights are overseen by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
